Rocío Osses Ubilla graduated in the year 2021 of anthropology at the University of Chile. One year before graduating, she began to be interested in Latin American studies about popular ethnography and the social history, this coincide with the new programs of the career Anthropology, implemented at the University of Playa Ancha, Valparaíso, wich work with people in the areas of hill more peripheral and implement new methodology for teach history to interested people. She decides work in these studies and do his thesis about popular suburbs of Valparaíso and the importance of realize a ethnography popular close to the reality of these people. After that, she realized a master about history in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Chile, for complement popular ethnography studies with the methodology of popular education and the new social history in places without access to this type of learning. Actually she is teaching a subject about Social History of Latin America
